ABOUT THE ARTIST:
"You may know Cindy as the lady with the Jethro Burns tattoo. Like her musical hero, she strives to infuse her music with a playful and inventive spirit. Extensive touring and traveling around the US and Europe inspire her diverse musical interests. Lately, the serpentine melodies and infectious rhythms of Brazilian choro and bossa nova occupy a sizable chunk of real estate in her musical landscape. Jazz and songwriting remain vehicles for deepening her understanding of the inner workings of music. To that end, in addition to shows with The Blue Ribbon Healers, Cindy now performs solo, featuring her original material along with some of her favorite jazz and Bossa standards."
